As a Christian institution, there are programs and courses toward one goal:  “Graduating godly individuals prepared to serve Christ in Church and society.”  With that in mind, all programs include many discussions and assignments that help students consider how to care for those around them in a way that honors Christ and serves the needs of people.

Each discipline has different “tools” useful in caring for others.  This assignment allows you to explain what some of those tools might be, how they can be effective in serving others, and how these tools are unique.  Focus on the care of the individual. What are the “tools” of your trade?
Note: These are not to be duplicates of the previous “Keys” discussion.  Include practical tools you have learned in your program, such as counseling techniques, planning strategies, Bible study tools, etc.  Think of specific methods or activities you have learned to care for people.

Discuss the following points related to this topic:
1. Explain at least three tools (i.e., methods) when caring for individuals which are at your disposal that you have learned from your studies.
2. As you do so, give specific examples about how this looks in a real-life setting.  (Include citations for your examples)
Draw the connection for your classmates between this tool, and how it is either specific to your discipline, or how it may overlap with other disciplines.
