The study also found that white females between the ages of 15 and 16 who are raised in a dual parent household and have above average family income were most likely to be bullies in high school. The Superintendent wants you to conduct a study in her one high school which has a population of 4,000 students to see if the results apply to FISD so that prevention and intervention efforts can be developed. The Superintendent wants you to answer the following research questions:

• Are male or female high school students more likely to commit acts of bullying?

• What are the characteristics of those who are most likely to bully others based on race, age, family composition, and fam‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍ily income?

Detail how you would design the study. You need to detail: 1.

 a) How you would draw a sample (you must draw a sample, not take the entire population)

 2. b) What type of research design you will use (randomized, quasi, interrupted time series, etc.), including your method of distribution

 3. c) What type of measurement you will do (you need to develop actual questions)

 4. d) What reliability and validity threats exist in your measurement?

You need to make sure you describe the other sampling, design and measurement techniques that could have been employed and justify why you are not going to use them. (example: if using a random design, explain why you didn’t use a quasi design.

Same for the type of sampling used and measurement techniques.)

Be sure to note all of your assumptions and justify your decisions. Answer all questions 1-4 All References should be from empirical/peer reviewed s‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍ources.
