Watch either 13th (available on Netflix) or Get Out then in a 3-5 page paper (excluding cover page and references page), explain how Angela Davis’ (that is, her book Freedom is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement) theories, ideas, and concepts relate to the issues raised in the film. How does the film further Davis’ ideas and theories about incarceration, racial violence, and racial justice?

I will be looking for evidence that you have studied and reflected on the material covered throughout the course and understand key concepts and issues discussed in class.
