Describe a time when you felt that a leader failed to listen effectively to followers and a time when because of listening effectively a leader was able to avert or better handle a crisis. Then analyze the following with reference to each leader:
- What was the nature of the circumstances the leader faced?
- What types of behaviors did the leader exhibit?
- How did followers respond?
Based on your analysis, what advice, if any, do you believe the successful leader might offer the leader who failed?
