It seems that a great deal of educational money is spent today on children with disabilities, including assistive technology like communication devices for children with severe and profound disabilities.
Children with disabilities have a right to such support and it is fundamental to their learning. However, one facet of special education has been overlooked when it comes to funding.
Children who are gifted and talented receive less funding and educational support than those with disabilities.
