The Australian hotel industry is on a rapid change as players continue to adopt innovative strategy to fit the current and future ecological and environmental needs. The adoption of environmentally friendly strategies by the hotel is not only in line with the need to protect the environment but also to ensure that clients maximally enjoy the services offered by hotels (Erdem and Tetik 2013). Erdem and Tetik (2013) further observes that the rise of demand for ecologically friendly hotel services by clients has largely been informed by the need to protect the environment which has been deteriorating as a result of the global warming that has gone out to negatively impact on the world.
