The paper needs to cover the topic of The background and history of the issues facing enrollment and retention for American community colleges. there are probably a lot of issues so pick the top two or three issues that are most related to what i have indicated below. your discretion when writing,
• Current status of the Issues, highlighting at least two diverse points of view on the issue. Somewhere in the paper I would like it to include and discussing how during “pre-covid” times high schools were failing to adequately prepare all of their students to enter a four-year university or provide any type of employment career readiness. You as the writer can include what’s happening now in covid times but community colleges were suffering declining enrollment numbers long before covid happened too.
• The possible outcomes/direction that the issue may take in the near future.
• recommendations for a long-term solution and outcome of the issue, including a detailed explanation of why you would recommend your resolution of the issue. I would like the recommendations to include that Community colleges should also provide to their students Career Technical Education (CTE) classes emphasizing the value of hands-on skilled trades for employment opportunities such as auto and diesel mechanics, welding, manufacturing, cosmetology ect.. because many students leaving high school or finishing an alternative high school, GED or continuation type environment are not all going to be computer programmers or academic learners and are better suited for hands-on career training where the community colleges can be a better financial alternative then an expensive “for-profit” trade school. I need 7 high quality sources, but if you use more that is fine to. My additional thoughts: in the introduction paragraph include some history of American community colleges, how they got started, what their initial intent was and what has happened in recent times leading into the issues to be discussed. I also paid for a one page summary, also called an outline. my assignment requires an outline page too
