You are required to act as a consultant for the organisation you selected for assignment 1. In this role, you will prepare a report designed to inform the organisation about how they can improve their business through better consideration of a chosen contextual factor. You can choose one of the following contextual factors to have as the main focus of your report:

·         Governance

·         Innovation and Entrepreneurship

·         Knowledge Management and eCommerce

The course coordinator has prepared a video that explains the requirements of the task in greater detail, along with several other useful information about the assignment, and this video is available on the Moodle site.

The marking criteria is also provided on the Moodle site as a separate document, however, your assessment will be marked based on how well it addresses the following areas:

Students are to demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter by:

·         Defining relevant terms, theories and concepts presented in topics 1-8

·         Utilising the specific contextual factor chosen, explaining key details and assessing its impact on the relevant firm or organisation

·         Explaining major domestic and international contextual factors and how they affect business structures and strategy.

·         Demonstrating a breadth and quality of research by using a minimum of 12-16 academic sources.

·         Correctly using the APA in text referencing system to cite academic sources.
