Philosophy Paper: What is democracy?” the same way as you did at the beginning of the course?

The prompts
1. Making use of at least two pieces we’ve read for the course (at least one of which must be post-Cohen), respond to the following question: Would you still answer the question “What is democracy?” the same way as you did at the beginning of the course?
2. Do the radical democrats cogently demonstrate that representational government is undemocratic?
3. Insofar as the State executes or represents the will(s) of the people, both republicanism and liberalism present the State as the primary site of democracy. The deliberative democrats maintain that democracy takes place principally in the public sphere. Wolin takes democracy to be located in demotic moments, in episodic flight from the State and other institutions, while Ranciere claims democracy is located in “the interval between different names” of political subjects and spaces. Hardt and Negri, finally, proclaim that democracy exists in the Multitude. Using at least two pieces we’ve read for the course (at least one of which must be post-Cohen), respond to the following question: What do you consider the primary site of democracy?
