Task 1 (15 marks) – Produce Project Schedule and Cost Management Plans
Using the Agile SCRUM Methodology, develop the schedule and budget for the first iteration of
the project.
In a ProjectLibre file:
• Create a new project and set up the project information, calendar and resources
accordingly
• Enter the milestones and tasks for the first iteration of the project
• Assign resources to the tasks (ensure no resources are over allocated)
• Identify the project’s Critical Path
In a Word document (Consultative Report):
• Provide a summary of the schedule and budget for the entire project. Elaborate on the
schedule and budget for the first iteration of the project. Ensure you also include any
assumptions made and constraints identified
• Provide a summary of the Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective for the first iteration of
the project
• Include the weekly Scrum boards produced as an Appendix
Task 2 (10 marks) – Produce a Project Resource Management Plan
Provide a summary of the resource management plan for Task 1.
In a Word document (Consultative Report):
• Discuss the staffing plan for Task 1 including the key resources needed, the
organisational structure used and how resources will be procured and managed. Ensure
you also include any assumptions made and constraints identified.
Task 3 (20 marks) – Produce a Project Risk Management Plan
Provide a summary of the risk management plan for the project.
In a Word document (Consultative Report):
• Discuss the approach taken to identify and manage the risks for the entire project
• Discuss the process taken to identify, assess and manage the risks for the first iteration
of the project
• Include the Risk Matrix and Risk Register for the first iteration of the project as an
Appendix
