I’m not sure how many of you watched “Breaking Bad”, but an early theme and decision-point in that show was Walter White deciding what his “number” was.  That is, at what point would he quit playing “the game”?

Read through the description of the St. Petersburg Paradox on pp. 66-67, and also listen to the chapter 7 lecture files.

After reflecting on the material, discuss what your “number” would be – when would you gracefully bow out of the game?  Or would you keep playing, going all-in, over and over?  You can refer to a specific scenario/game, or keep this in the metaphorical realm (wherein you consider all of life a ‘game’).
