This assignment has two components: 1) a strategic action plan along with proposed implementation for the plan, and 2) an evaluation plan to measure and monitor the strategic plan. For the first part of the assignment, you will create a strategic plan, describing its implementation using evidence based leadership and management principles. To complete this, you will utilize the information gathered from both the gap and SWOT analyses. After reviewing the organizational goals and objectives, develop a plan of action to create change in the organization. Ensure that the strategic action plan is culturally sensitive, addresses policies, practices, budgets, timelines, and includes a communication plan. The strategic action plan must also identify who the key personnel will be in carrying out the plan. In addition: Design guidelines or general instructions for nurse leaders and managers so that they may implement the strategic action plan. Identify the value in implementing this strategic plan. Explain how implementing this plan saves time, money, or resources. For the second part of the assignment, you will create an evaluation plan to measure and monitor your strategic plan. Design a formative and summative evaluation process, including a description of the frequency of evaluation, the expected levels of achievement (benchmarks), and the process to modify and update the evaluation plan.
