Create a 15 minute presentation for the class showing one way that you would work in the
human community to try and stem the effects of a public health issue. In addition to your
overall plan, you need to include a rationale with supporting documentation as to why you
chose that particular health issue and how you decided on your action plan. You should be sure
to include your target population (age, sex, size, location, socio-economic status, ethnicity
and/or any other relevant characteristics), what your overall goal is, what you would specifically
do, and an idea of a needed budget. Be sure to also include any necessary background
information to make sure everyone is familiar with the topic. Please try and refrain from
turning this into a political piece.
