Recovery capital is the process of determining the quality and quantity of both the internal and external resources with the aim of initiating and sustaining recovery from addiction and other factors under social inequality. The process entails four components including social – relationships and support from others, physical – tangible assets such as housing, human – skills and other personal resources that promote prosperity, and cultural capital – beliefs and attitudes respectively.
