The finished paper will be a comparison of two music performances, one jazz and one rock (refer to p. 2 for distinctions and exceptions). Elements of the performances will be discussed and compared, such as the instruments used, the mood of individual songs, skills displayed by soloists and an assessment of successful v. unsuccessful elements of the music.
