To those not working, pick a struggling company (Sears, Winn-Dixie, JC Penney, etc. ) and identify three of their major issues/obstacles to success. Utilize the rational decision-making process to theoretically remedy what you believe to be their 3 biggest issues. If these issues are solved, can the organization overcome the challenges they already face? Would their current trajectory be different? If the answer to the previous two questions are yes, why didn’t the company just do this? Is it realistic for a company to make decisions based on complete information?
