Use this data file to create a frequency chart or histogram with CPT codes on the X axis and frequency on the Y axis using SPSS. Instructions: Open the data file, then click on ‘Graphs’, then click on ‘Chart Builder’, then click on ‘Bar’ from the lower left corner (under “Choose from”), then drag the ‘Simple Bar’ icon (the one with three blue bars) on the workspace. Drag the ‘CPT code’ from the left column to the X axis and drag ‘total.frequency’ to the Y axis. Finally click on ‘OK’ at the bottom of the page.
(2) Use the above data file to create a pie chart. Use SPSS. Follow the above instructions. Drag the ‘pie/polar’ icon on the workspace. Then Drag ‘CPT code’ to the X axis and drag ‘percent’ to the Y axis. Click ‘OK’ at the bottom of the page.
(3) Examine the findings from your histogram and pie chart.
