The final exam will be drawn from our weekly lectures, readings, your own insights and research, and discussions. You will write a 1500-word essay (about 6 pages, with at least 3 scholarly peer-reviewed citations) spinning off from our class simulation in which you argue and defend your own perspective on what we can learn from history about God (as you define, or spiritually from an atheist belief), plagues and pestilence and what their relevancy can teach us today about living through a pandemic.
