Contact a HR manager of an organization of interest and interview them about their recruitment process incorporating questions encompassing information within the chapter. Make sure to include:
- the decision-making process that led to the recruitment plan established.
- communication media used and recruiting sources
- typical time table for recruitment
- focus on hiring inside or outside the organization
- do they record applicant flow; where have the best applicants sources come from?
- turn-over rate and strategy for reducing turn-over
